In collaboration with BSPN Architecture, Dunn Moran restored the Heritage A block at Sommerville House Girls School into a cherished part of the school. The thoughtful use of materiality and bespoke details in the landscape created a seamless connection between the Fewings heritage building and the outdoor learning environment. Key challenges of this site included:

• Working within the constraints of heritage a building

• Retaining and enhancing essential characteristics of the building and school

The outcome was an authentic nod to Queensland heritage that emphasises neat and clean lines to create a flow between indoors and outdoors.
